This place is incredible! The ambiance and service are top-notch. The meat selections are premium. I went during restaurant week and got to try a variety of cuts. The short rib was so tender, it felt like the meat would melt in my mouth. The salad is delicious and I mean it. I wish they had better options for banchans. I’ll definitely come back here to try other meat options.

Steven was phenomenal. Recommendations were on point and the food was delicious. The highlight of the night was the desert drinks. We got a black grand national and it is by far the most delicious drink I’ve had in a while. It’s Smokey, sweet with hints of chocolate and roasted cherries. The presentation was top tier. The perfect date night and special occasion place.

This place was a vibe for sure. The host was an absolute pleasure. Great dining service, delicious food, fresh quality ingredients, authentic banchan. All the staff I interacted with were knowledgeable on the menu as well as the restaurant history and its owners. And I’m the type of person who loves to know the whole story of a restaurant, not just be sold on high ticket menu items and drinks… Will definitely be back when I am in town again.

Not your typical KBBQ, but better. All of the apps that we tried were terrific, from the smoked bacon and crab fritters to the Galbi dumplings and the flash fried octopus. There are two Taste of Joa options available: the Signature and the Premier. We chose the Signature and were not disappointed at all. The prime meats were grilled by our servers to our liking. The marinated short ribs were the best. An included ice cream dessert at the end was the cherry on top.

This place is a must-visit! The Korean BBQ is absolutely top-notch — tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. What really makes it stand out though? The drinks! Super creative, strong, and seriously delicious. Best part? Happy Hour deals are unreal — half price on all drinks until 630 daily. Great vibe, great value, great night.

Everything—from the service to the food—was excellent. Lately, I’ve felt that many Korean BBQ places in the U.S. have adjusted too much to American tastes, making the food overly sweet and salty. But JOA was different. The meat was fresh, and the side dishes were especially delicious. What stood out the most was the service—they grilled the meat for us perfectly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I flew from Miami to celebrate my birthday and the entire staff made it VERY memorable for me! They went out of their way and all signed a birthday card and gave us a discount as a birthday gift. Erwin was our server and he was very attentive, fast, and sweet.
